It's so cold and lonely here.

This was pretty good. The family felt genuine and the movie played out well. A good story with good actors. That's all it really takes.

Where did you see it? Can't find it anywhere...

It appeared on my iptv via pdp 6010fd

Try YouTube- it often has films that had a small release/straight to DVD/On Demand...I found a film on there called 'Husk' that was more entertaining than I thought it would be.

Well, it's online now in various forms. The Internet savvy definitely know what I mean.

Anyway, the movie was a little amateur, but it was different enough to be considered decent. Sometimes the strained production values weighed it down, and the younger brother's and love interest's acting made me cringe a little. Yet the story kept me watching. All in all, a decent effort if you can overlook the flaws.

Is this movie about mental illness?

reply

Mental illness is part of the plot, but I would say the portrayal of it was limited and not in-depth.

Isn't that line the OP used for this thread's title from Neil Gaiman's Sandman? (a line Dream says..) In the film that graphic novel was mentioned, as well as the artist Dave McKean, who did a lot of the art for the books as well. The movie was right about McKean's work & that graphic novel series being amazing!!
