It's a shame too, I though this series deserved a second season to at least finish up some story arcs.
Now, hopefully, El Rey Network can fill this void with something else as good or better.
I think it would be great for El Rey to step up their shows to FX or HBO level eventually; with all of the great story telling, gratuitous violence, sex/nudity, naughty language, supernatural beasts, and everything other channels like FX are afraid of.
I just found out about this show last Sunday when they showed a marathon starting early morning, 4:00AM I think. What can I say, I had insomnia. I had no idea what it was or what it was about, but I got hooked and watched the rest of the marathon. I was looking forward to seeing the next season. I thought that maybe tomorrow Sunday would be another marathon. But no, I came here only to find out there is no next season... What a shame.

Knowing Robert Rodriguez and his love for Grindhouse movies and somewhat old Asian action movies, I guess in the new series he'll do there'll be some characters coming back and possibly story arcs.
