Brad seemed genuinely horrified when he found out what Alex had gone through because of her scumbag father so I can't believe that he would be in cahoots with him. I could see him putting HIM in a hole adjacent to Randall's but when Alex finally talked to her mother, mom's behavior didn't seem to suggest that anything bad had happened to her scumbag husband (she actually seemed rather pleased with the evening's events... maybe she killed her husband herself and that's why she's in such a good mood... hmmm). If it turns out that Brad's involved in the bloody goings-on in any way, I'm going to be truly shocked and a little ticked off because he's one of the few characters I can still tolerate on this show.
As for the detective telling Kelly that Louise said Brad was the attacker, I'm feeling very suspicious about that guy. Louise was clearly unconscious just a few seconds before the detective said that to Kelly and when she WAS awake and alert, Louise told Alex that she was going to tell the authorities that she (Alex) had done this. I know that the police on this show are either clueless or corrupt (or both) but something about that detective treating Kelly like she was a fellow officer (giving her information about the investigation, asking her to track down a suspect, etc.) makes me think he's up to something.
