Randall

It was hard to watch him begging for his son's life and to have the grandmother refer to her grandson as "that thing". Even if she hate how the baby came to be, where is her human side that would not see an innocent child lying cold and crying on the ground? I think if the officer shot her, the baby would drop into the water, but hopefully he will be saved. Wish I did not have to wait until next season to find out. One thing I am glad about is that Randall heard that it was Alex that set this horror in motion. Now maybe he can fall out of "love or lust" and be a normal man.

Not to take Mom's side for very long but she did seem to have a tiny glimmer of humanity while Randall was begging her to pick up the baby. She sounded as if she didn't agree with her husband but didn't have a choice (from the looks of it, she was right). But whatever human feelings she might have had completely disappeared when she went out to the middle of the lake and held that tiny baby upside down over the water... who DOES that?!

Both Alex and Brad are stupid calling her parents. Brad called them last season because he thought that they would be on his side because Randall is black, but dumb dumb forgot that the parents didn't like him. And Alex knew what kind of parents she had. What made her think that they wouldn't hurt her child? Maybe she's forgetting that he's 1/2 black. I sure hope that Randall falls out of love with her. I look at Marci and Alex and I think to myself what was Randall thinking unless he just wanted a blond white woman and Alex is all that he could get.
