A great artsy take on the coming of age/ coming out story. Very beautiful film, great soundtrack and great lighting! Some very touching and relateable subject matter. The lead really did a great job and I hope to continue to see him in films.

Some things I loved- the makeup he wore at the party, The visions of the bar coming out of him throughout the film, the talking hamster, When he threw up screws, loved the scene when he's high in the office at his work and I really loved the scene right after he leaves the party with his friends. Also I loved the bike ride in the beginning. The music, and visuals/photography were mesmerizing.

Couldn't agree more! Connor Jessup is a real talent. You should check Season 2 of "American Crime" on Netflix if you liked him in this. He plays a very similar character and the show is very good.

The talking hamster threw me for a second but I got over it and really enjoyed the film too. It reminded me of Gregg Araki or Xavier Dolan's work. Very stylized and slightly off but in a good way. I'd recommend you try some of their films if you haven't seen them before.
