I think I may go over there. They've got boards, but so far no one is posting on the Poldark board. I posted a subject asking how many books they'll adapt next season.

Season 3 is supposed to be The Black Moon and half of The Four Swans.

They should do all of The Four Swans, since it has a nice Ross/Demelza ending scene.

They said that it is just too much material to cover, since those books are so big. I'm assuming if tghey get renewed for season 4, they will do the 2nd half of The Four Swans and The Angry Tide.

Poldark books: What's being adapted?

Unlike the first two series, which adapted two books each, series three will be based on Winston Graham's 1973 novel The Black Moon, and the first half of 1976's The Four Swans.

So does look like S4 will be the second half of Angry Tide.

I just posted this article below on a thread by itself but apparently season 3, according to this article will be 9 eps long (darn it..don't want it shorter!). The above quote is from the article below.

Not sure how well it's going to sit with viewers if it ends on Demelza cheating on Ross.
