and even then wouldn't it be in self defense?

It's not legal to blow up a car, take another one through the police building and attack police officers even if they are corrupted.

He doesn't have the right to be the judge, jury and executioner. So for once, they made it realistic.

From what I saw, he killed a couple of cops, not to mention he blew up a car and drove into the police station. I imagine those acts would be illegal. He only got four years so the charges wouldn't have been that serious.
