What does Edgar Ramirez say in Spanish?

Can someone tell me what does Edgar Ramirez say in Spanish after Megan says I don't care about your *beep* practice?

reply

I think he says "You're driving me crazy"!!

reply

Thank you, I was wondering too.

reply

IMO I don't care what he says as long as he does LOL. The man is sexy.

When first clicking on this topic, I thought you were the OP answering your own question.

reply

LOL. I usually do at some point though.

- "Qué es lo que tu quieres de mi?" - "Qué es lo que tu quieres de mi?" -"Me estas volviendo loco!" "ME ESTAS VOLVIENDO LOCO!".

Which translates something like:

- "what is it you want from me?" - "what is it you want from me?" -"You are driving me crazy!", "YOU ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!"

reply

I was wondering what that meant. Thank you for providing a translation.

reply

Accurate translation, though the Spanish comes across a bit stilted as if someone translated it from English.

I think the same. It seems like a Google translation from English (or other language). I mean, they should have sent this dialogue for Spanish translation when they changed the Doctor's ethnicity from the one in the book (I don't remember if the doctor was Indian or East European).

Something more smooth for this situation would have been:
- "Qué quieres de mi?" - "Qué demonios quieres de mi?" -"Me estas enloqueciendo!" "TU ME ESTAS VOLVIENDO LOCO!".

But, what do I know. They don't pay me lots of money to write these things...

Actually, thinking it better, the dialogue from the movie sounds a lot like Cuban Spanish. I don't know if the doctor from the movie was Cuban or Cuban descendant. I know the actor is from Venezuela (different kind of Spanish).

Your line sounds much so much more natural, and I'm surprised that Edgar Ramirez didn't just improvise something similar, or that no one from the script to shooting stages spoke enough Spanish to suggest an improved translation.

And you might be surprised to discover that the director is none other than some Caucasian dude from Mississippi who probably employs in his household people who speak better Spanish.
