2 Things amazed me in this movie

first thing - Emily's drunk acting.
never saw such convincing drunk acting in any movie (and yeah she had an overall amazing acting).

second thing - Microsoft\PC computers and android phones!
where did Apple go?
usually every american movie is Apple all over the place.

Agree. She should have gotten GG/Oscar nods ...

Hmmm, maybe Apple didn't want to pony up for product placement?

reply

Giving my bad experiences with Apple, I am glad they were not used in the movie. I'm strictly an Android customer now.

You must hate privacy. Given that everyone was logging onto everyone else’s laptops and phones in this movie, that’s no surprise.

Her drunk acting made me want to jump into the screen and give her enough sex to make her sober. She needed a good shag to move onto a new life.

What I'm saying is that I would like to have sex with Emily Blunt. I would also like to receive large amounts of money in the mail.

Haha

I sense defeatism. Don't give up on yourself so easily!

Dream big.

Thanks, Cookie. I knew I could count on you to raise my spirits.

This is one of the best portrayals of a drunk person on screen. Blunt seemed so believable... Usually actors don't get it right, but she nailed it, every time!

Cant think of better drunk acting in a movie...

reply

I agree, she was brilliant. I think it was Michael Caine when he was talking about his role in Educating Rita, he said that when acting a drunk you have to remember that most drunk people are trying to conceal it not show how inebriated they are. That is, not stumble around like a stage drunk.

reply

How can you be sure that she wasn't drunk, I have been drunk one time and I was coherrent enough to do stuff like talk and walk.
