I thought Nolan and Chelsea did a great job

Considering the bad writing, I think both leads did a great job in this film.

Nolan brought a charm and then extreme creepiness to Xavier. And while you wanted to smack Ava, Chelsea brought a vulnerability to the character.

Chelsea must've really trusted Nolan with some of these scenes because he gets pretty physical with her. The scenes where he's up close with her face and forcing himself was pretty intense.

For a not-so-good movie, Nolan and Chelsea brought a lot to the film.
