Did they really have to have the same "flashback" ending too? Too much like misery and that was a classic

When Nolan's character revealed his evil side it reminded me of Mark Wahlberg in Fear. He even sounded like him too.

Yeah what up with that accent, first I thought it was a New York accent than a Boston accent..know just a generic Mark Wahlberg accent.

lol, I thought the same thing! I was willing to give this silly movie a pass up until that point. And it wasn't subtle AT ALL. At least in Misery, when James Caan "sees" Annie, both he and the audience are given time to wonder if it's actually her.
