Why the hell would I want to watch this movie?

Every time the main character comes on the screen I'm repulsed at how she looks almost deathlike in her skinniness.

Hollywood is bad enough pushing this on vulnerable young girls.

Do Canadian directors also have to try to tell young girls this is how they should look?

I think if you watch the movie you would realize she wasn't cast for her body, she was cast because she is a fine young actor.

The film wasn't presenting her as an ideal physical or otherwise, she was awkward, confused, and at least a little self hating.
