Is Anthony Anderson playing the same character from the 1st one?

Is he playing the ATM theif/Ricky's cousin. I don't like how he just pops back up for the 3rd one when he wasn't even in the 2nd one and Ricky (Michael Ealy) isn't in this one at all, but was in the first two.

Same character, but he's evolved (so to speak). Won't spoil it for you.

I am rather surprised no Ricky or at least a mention of him.
