I've seen the trailers and noticed Ricky (Micheal Ealy) and Dinka aren't in the movie. Wonder why they didn't return and everyone else at least makes an appearance. With J.D. (Anthony Anderson) returning and he was Ricky's cousin, maybe they'll explain what happened to Ricky.

shareJust saw it and it doesn't explain what happened to Ricky or Dinka. Issac is in for a bit, but I don't remember the film saying what he does now. He looked to be doing well, but never discussed what he is doing.

Yeah, it's kinda disappointing that most of the older cast didn't come back for this. I was pretty surprised actually. The new people were pretty good though and Cedric was fantastic as usual tho

At least six of the original cast members came back. I was rather surprised no detective Williams and no rayford as well.
