Was he booked with another project during filming? Anyone know?

Ealy did an interview and said he had no idea they were making a third one. Ice Cube refused to comment

Hmmm...that's interesting. Maybe something went sour between Cube and Ealy. I always thought it was strange how Ricky was replaced with Romaduhl in the TV version of Barbershop...

...then again, Jimmy was left out entirely (in the show) but came back for the 3rd film.

I thought I saw him make a cameo when everyone started turning up after Anthony Davis tweeted about his free cut. I could've sworn the guy who gets walked into the shop was Michael.

Yeah it did like him, but if it were him they would have said something to him or mentioned he was visiting the shop.

Yeah that's a shame, and the African guy I loved him, and they traded away the funny hustler DeRay Davis for JB Schmoove in this (which to be honest was pretty much the same role)

Didn't get along with Cube maybe or would ask to get paid too much, I know DeRay said that they never even asked him to return which is crazy since he brought home some of the biggest laughs in the predecessors
