Great Movie!!

I was so impressed by this movie. All of the acting was so great. I am already a fan of Danny Nucci, and of course Queen Molly Ringwald. Chevy Chase was a surprising treat as the narrator. Annabella Sciorra was gorgeous and flowing seamlessly as usual. The kids were even awesome. I was expecting a corny Christmas movie, but this was pure entertainment. Loved the jokes, great writing, and the sets, and costumes were great. I am recording this for my DVR. Now I have to read the book.

This was a well done movie. Molly Ringwald was perfect as the french teacher. All of the kids were amazing. I called my sister in the middle of the movie to tell her to watch it. She's in a different time zone than me. I wish this was on DVD so I could send it to my dad. The book is on my next to read list!

I totally agree! I have to say I wasn't expecting it to be so wonderful. This is the type of Christmas movie I could watch year after year.

Good story, well told.
No unnecessary sub plots or roadblocks.
Excellent, engaging Christmas movie.

I stumbled on this and thought it sounded kind of cute. But oh it was so much more than that! I absolutely loved it. It was such a refreshing change from the Christmas rom com that is allover Hallmark. It kind of reminded me of a more Christmas Story than anything else. It will definitely be a keeper to watch next year when I need a good giggle or two.

I kept thinking of how the kid whose story was being narrated could actually grow up to look like Chevy Chase. It's a good narration by CC.
