I think it's a funny film. First, it's a comedy, not a horror film. Second, it's very low budget and is for a certain type.
This did remind me of two other Brooklyn hipster comedies.
THE COMEDY with Tim Heidecker
and
HOW TO BE A MAN
I am familiar with the whole Brooklyn hipster culture because I live near there and I go to many shows in Brooklyn. (Yes, there are a lot of white guys with beards and glasses).
My question is... will the people who do not know about the whole Brooklyn hipster culture truly appreciate this?
It's nowhere near a great film. I saw it once and I did laugh, but I have a weird sense of humor.
