I seen it last night and for what it was, it was good enough. RZA and who ever else was involved made it work. No, I didn't watch the first one and tbt, I don't really follow stuff like this but I was bored and figured it was worth a shot and you know what? I didn't felt like it was a flop.

Why do people waste their time complaining about movies when they could better spend their energy commenting on movies they do like. The imbd comment forums is notoriously bad for this. If you don't like a movie, just stop watching it and watch something else.

By the way, I love the name "Master Ho" -haha.

Iron Fist or it pretty much every case: RZA deserves all the hate in the world for trying to become any kind of martial arts master on screen - he just sucks so effing hard at it it's scary. He should stay behind the camera and the mic, where he belongs.

I can understand that he may not suit everyone's tastes but if he's an enthusiast for that world, which is not some marketing ploy that extends beyond his Wu-Tang legacy, then he, imo, shouldn't be hated upon for trying to bring back or bring homage to the old martial arts cinema that used to the thing decades ago. As it stand, what he's done holds true to form and his character is a humble person that gets involved with conflict that he tries to avoid all together. Maybe I'm thinking too hard about it and everybody have their thoughts but from what I've seen so far, holds nothing bad against him.

Are you trying to imply that the wuxia genre is out of fashion when it existed since the beginning of Chinese cinema

It still exist and it's called international cinema...a selection of evidence, Red Cliff (2008), The Assassin (2015) - maybe you need to get out your Netflix/chain multiplex cinema and go to your local art house cinema

If he wanted to make a homage then make a movie about an actual historical character or legend.... note something RZA just made up in his fantasy world.

I'm not going to lie, RZA performance and line delivery in this film was damn near HILARIOUS. LMFAO, When this negro said "You picked the wrong person, I'm on a path Budda", I kid you not, I was on a path of laughter. I'm like, what did he just say?

When I watched the first few minutes until Lucy Liu came into scene; because I have seen so many Mandarin language films her Mandarin accent was so atrocious that I began to lose interest so quickly. After that, I felt my judgement was so right

This film is in all the equivalent of a Chinese takeout meal, complete tailored for Western audience without regard for tradition. If this was marketed for the Chinese, I can understand why it flopped because like the Japanese with 47 Ronin, they are understandably very protective of anything that portray their culture

imdb discussion is a good place to know whether some movie is good or bad, you cant stop people from complaining for what they dont like, its like do nothing when zionist bombing palestine so much.

But who's stopping people from complaining? As if that's possible, but since you brought that up, I want to point out that imdb is riddled with complainers. It's past the point of something being good or bad, it's just using free space and air to bitch about something just because. As for the topic (this movie) at hand, I could understand everyone's take on it but then again, when it comes to traditional stuff, everything's tailored for western audiences anyway. To each their own.

Its the same thing for every movie in imdb discussion you know. Such as why all the Gal Gadot hate, why all the Alicia Vikander hate, why all the Batman vs Superman hate. You are "complaining" too about people who complain. They just cant be stopped.

Some of us actually try to have interesting discussions and conversations on what was good or bad about a particular movie we may have just watched etc. and endeavor to support our opinions or feelings with reasoning behind our comments.

Not everyone is a hate troll and by assuming any negative comment is a troll you have yielded and surrendered to the trolls.
