Good movie but...I would of enjoyed it more if....

I enjoyed this movie, but I found the ending a bit strange. All that effort to be rejected. But guess the movies right not everything ends up the way you want it. Would of preferred if the ending had either happened liked that then q hooked up with lacie, or they found margo' body in the shack. The clues bit was interesting but again why leave a clue to q in his room if it didn't mean something. All those clues for nothing, yes you were talking to your sister, but you would assume if someone came to look for you and you had left clues that you would be happy that they were willing to go out of their way to see you.

I really thought after she went missing there would be emphasis on she was missing by other people. I sought of gathered something was happening because after margo was with q on the 9 list night, q says "so are things going to be different" and then margo says "yeah I guess", like I'm sorry you haven't interacted with that girl for years until that night and you Expect her to love you?

Would of been good if she did go missing but ended up dying. Then you would of got the whole "attention" seeking bit with what her parents were going out, then it would of been a suprised if she died. Q would of been emotional but as margo said he didn't really know her. Then the story could of ended with him being with Lacie, that bathtub scene was such a mis direction. It seemed like lacie liked him and she seemed a bit let down when he was explaining his feelings to the group?

Margo was definitely shocked to see q at the end, seemed like the whole film she wanted him to be more comfortable. I was just confused because it seemed like she started to fall for q during the last night in orlando. Where there was that bit in the car and she says "it can't be true" or something a long those lines. So was she worried that q was beginning to fall for her? or was she worried she might fall for q

I did rate the soundtrack and music that was excellent. I thought the two leads were great and most of the side cast. Great scene when they sang the Pokemon song as well!!!! and HAIM at the end at the prom was good as well. Who doesn't like slow mode dancing
I had not read the book but I enjoyed the film, there were some parts that I would of done better but we can't change that.

Exactly what I said..."lacey and Q" I cited 'Pretty in pink' and how it was reshot a more correct direction, this should have been too. Ben and Lacey didn't work. I don't care what the book did, but this movie was leading you in a particular direction. Not sure why they didn't finish that. Fail!
