it didn't work for me.

Margo: All the paper kids drinking beer some bum bought for them at the paper convenience store. Everyone demented with the mania of owning things. All the things paper-thin and paper-frail. And all the people, too. I've lived here for eighteen years and I have never once in my life come across anyone who cares about anything that matters.

And what does matter? According to an adolescent girl? Justin Bieber? What matters is a relative and subjective thing. Saying something vague isn't clever, it is being vague.

Instead of asking "What does matter?" the kid answers with "Dance with me".

In the end of the movie she confesses she doesn't know anything though.

She lost credibility quickly in my eyes. The magic just never really happened.
I understand the story and how it should have been, but she never came over larger as life, more like a rebel without a clue.

The kid played a convincing puppy-love role though.
