Who here know/knew a "Margo"?

I had a Margo in my life, we were close in school, then lost touch for a while, reconnected trough Facebook...end of story one day at a local popular point where i go drink beers with my buddies, i saw her with some friends and when i aproached her to talk she destroyed me, it was brutal! Anyone relates?

Destroyed you how?

reply

With words, treated me like a star treats an annoying fan, and mind you we were very close, very! Even after all theses years we didn't turned into strangers, but the way she acted, made me fell like those peasants in medieval times being humiliated by the royalty...and she lokks just like Cara Delevigne...

I'm a psychiatrist by profession. How does it make you feel when she's having some other guys penis inside her?

reply

It makes him jealous that the penis is inside her and not him! >:(

reply

lol WTF !?!?!

reply

Sorry this happened to you. This doesn't say much for her, or maybe she was just acting that way around her friends? Maybe we've all acted like this, to lesser degrees?

I dated a "Margo" but it was the version of her that exists after here wildest days were behind her (imagine a teenage girl hitchhiking from state to state, getting rides from truckers), but she was still what I'd call a restless spirit.

She was still an incredibly broken human, unable to maintain a deep connection for too long before she'd wonder what else there was in the world she could explore. We didn't last that long, obviously.

Over the years (we've kept in touch here and there) she's managed to have multiple kids from multiple fathers, moved to different states, got involved with different kinds of drugs, etc. and eventually wound up in prison a few times and last I knew she was in a halfway house.

So *that* (to answer the question in another thread) is where a "Margo" is mostly likely to end up. Not on some Broadway stage or as a successful artist, but living in a halfway house after your most recent bust for drugs or prostitution and wondering what all your kids from different daddies are up to (the ones you didn't abort, that is).

Read the post from the lady called "I'm a Margo." Just because you knew someone who was one way doesn't mean they all turn out like that.

Since her name has nothing to do with how she treated you, how is this relevant to the movie?

reply

Uh... I'm pretty sure the whole "Margo" thing is shorthand for "A girl with a personality just like Margo".

Yes, I dated a "Margo" type of girl senior year of high school, back in 2008. Her name was Madeline (we all called her Maddie). She drove me crazy, in both good and bad ways. We had a mutual break up because she was on a downward spiral and going off the rails. I couldn't handle the drama, and she needed to find herself. Not that I was perfect either, btw. Haven't seen her in a long time, but I know she works as a bartender in Europe somewhere.

My "Margo" friend now lives in Monaco and is well-off. I never dated her, nor were that close, but we had the same mindset. I guess I got stuck in my mundane existence, while she adventured all over the world. Now she's a mom, has a beautiful daughter with the same wild, gypsy sparkle in the eyes. Can't wait for her story to unravel...

I know a guy who was a Margo, he broke my heart, we were too similar and i ended up falling in love for him, the guy just disappeared and then he came back and again and again and again.

I don't want sex, i want the things that lead to it: the slow kissing, neck kisses, biting, grinding
