WOW anyone seen Cara's awkward as hell interview?

Jesus those hosts are deplorable people - what trash! They suck at their jobs! They just start tearing into her for being her normal, aloof, dry, BRITISH self

reply

Which interview?

reply

They're dicks but it was hilarious when one of them was like "Go take a nap."

reply

She's annoying. Self entitled twat.

reply

You're an ass. At least she's actually trying to make a name for herself, rather than just sitting back and living off of her family's name and wealth.

Respect what you have 🌌

reply

I know. And they said she had an attitude.. YEAH SHES GONNA HAVE AN ATTITUDE YOU JUST INTORDUCED HER NAME WRONG. I think you should know the name of the celebrity you are interviewing.

reply

The anchors where total dickks. Stupid questions deserve stupid answers

reply

It's not the hosts' fault she is a rich, entitled jerk and shows it during the interview. Someone should walk up to her on the street and punch her in the set-entitled mouth.

reply

The host couldn't even be bothered to learn her name, which is insanely rude and unprofessional. When you are interviewing someone, the very LEAST you can do is make sure you know their name and how to pronounce it.

Then they proceeded to ask her stupid questions like, "so did you read the book?" Of course she read the book, who does a movie-adaptation of a book without reading it?

And then, after they cut the interview feed, they proceeded to talk sh*t about her on the air without giving her a chance to defend herself. So even if they were justified, they certainly didn't take the high road and acted petty afterwards.

reply

Agree. I saw nothing wrong with her behavior. What law says that a person has to be energetic or happy all the time? The news anchors were just rude and the comments unnecessary.

reply

The hosts/interviewers were horrible. First, they pronounced her name wrong, and then they ask her if she has read the book. Well no *beep* she read the book, that's a pretty silly and kind of condescending question to ask. And then they tell her she "looks exhausted". SERIOUSLY?? Ridiculously unprofessional. And then they tell her to go drink a red bull or take a nap. That is so rude to treat your guest that way. I hope they get fired.

reply

Surprisingly unprofessional interviewing, possibly due to sloppy research. Also Americans don't get the British sense of humour, which is why they have to remake everything from House of Cards to The Office.
Anyway, that interview is the best publicity the film has had.

reply

Lmao you nitwit, British humor isn't hard to get. Sarcasm is easy. So cut the Americans Don't Get British Humorâ„¢ crap because it's not true.

reply

I agree, it's pretty awkward. But have you seen the full 4 minute one; not just the clips of the most awkward parts...? It puts her jokes into a bit more perspective. Still, I think those hosts were way out of line - "We'll let you go take a nap." Really? So uncalled for, you DON'T have to go there - it's not going to solve the problem.

Cara Delevingne just uses lots of sarcasm, and her brand of sarcasm happens to be the bone-dry, British kind...there are lots of celebrities who are sarcastic in interviews, but I imagine that even the most intoxicating brand of sarcasm would come across weirdly, in the hands of these terribly unprofessional hosts. They talked over her constantly! It's the same backlash Anna Kendrick faced when she was asked about the royal baby...she was MAKING A JOKE. She's not a baby-hater, or a bully, she was making a joke.

All of it will blow over in a few days - and those terrible hosts will be forgotten, along with their generic morning show.
