Not true... however, many of them don't give you the time of day until you're at a high school reunion.

You walk in looking really good, in better shape than any of the jocks ever were back in the day. Meanwhile the "babes" are there with their out of shape, pouty looking husbands. They often have also let themselves go.

Not always the case, but I've had some really funny conversations at reunions.

Just keep in mind - it's important to be the nice guy. Sometimes they will actually apologize for being jerks to you.

It doesn't make it a lot better - but at least you know that they know that they made a really bad decision. One of the most hilarious things ever is to have some husband notice his wife's jaw dropping as she sees you walking up to say hi. The look on their faces is priceless, especially if they were a douchebag back in high school. :D

Beyond that - many of the "babes" are dumb as hell, and not worthy of even dating. The concept of dating a hot chick is a neat one to a 17 year old boy, but waiting to go out while they spend 2 hours in the bathroom is rarely worth it. Plus, once their looks start to go, they get quite messed up in the head.

The annoying part is when you run into an old friend, who you always respected and were interested in, but due to the people they were always seeing, you never made a move... then when you see them years later and they ask you why you never pursued them, they don't get the fact that they were ALWAYS "off the market", which means that a "nice guy" is simply NEVER going to mack on them unless they tell the "nice guy" that they should date somebody smarter (i.e. hinting that they are interested).

Sadly the ladies often will go out with any guy they think is cute, if he macks on her... so the guys who would rather get to know somebody before macking on them are either "friendzoned" or ignored altogether.

Any younger ladies reading this - you will do yourself a GREAT favor by going out with one of the nerdy guys. They will normally have a better income, care more about your feelings and needs, and... well, like Revenge of the Nerds so clearly reminded us back in the 80s... nerds think about sex a lot more than the jocks do... and since we're smart, we learn a lot of tricks that the jock types never learn. Those jocks in high school may be "loud and in charge" but in general, from all of the ladies I've discussed it with over the years, almost without exception terrible lays.

You see, the thing is... they tend to view you as property, they like to show you off to look important themselves... but they will never bother to take care of your real needs. Most of them don't even know enough basic anatomy to properly try.

Go nerd... you will never regret it!
