just want to know who is here because of netflix

I personally am all for netflix taking up the arms of low budget/independent cinema that packs the punch that is needed, god knows most cinemas dont seem that concerned to

I stumbled upon this on Netflix. Immediately decided to watch it, because it was a rarity being rated 4/5 stars. Glad I did.

I didn't know it was on Netflix but I picked it up for 99 cent rental on iTunes. I liked the movie. Very intense. It takes a little time for some character development and that's ok. I'm in the States so I needed the closed captioning to understand everyone. Sorry, I even do that with Doctor Who to pick up the slang and UK colloquialisms. The realistic ( I assume) military lingo with all the acronyms and portmanteaus didn't help me but that is what they do.

In terms of language, the beginning was so brutal I couldn't even grasp what language it was. Then somehow later on it becomes easy to understand. Makes me think they went heavy with British accents in the beginning to emphasize this is not another American war movie.

Yes, I also caught this on Netflix. It's a great movie, but not at all what I expected based on a Netflix synopsis. I'm surprised a movie this ... paced... had such a high rating on Netflix, but it is a heck of a film.

Can't say it's what I was looking for on a Sunday afternoon, but I'm glad I saw it and learned more about the incident with some research.

This was recommended to me on Netflix. I hate reading synopsis of movies as they tend to give away too much. This is not at all what I was expecting, and admittedly was bored at first. That definitely changed, and I am glad I watched it.

Side note: There is this service coming to the US soon called Flix Premiere. It is going to be showing all indie movies and trying to give them premiere like status for home viewing. Unsure how it will be, but might be promising to see some movies that are deemed too niche for theaters.

I also watched this because I stumbled upon it on Netflix. Glad I did. It was a decent film. Not spectacular but worth the watch.

Yep,and yep, turned on subtitles pretty sharpish because 'us southeners' can't understand anything people say north of watford.
