I liked it. It reminded me of Drag Me To Hell. The movie got off to a semi slow start. And there were some scenes that didn't feel too believable. But the atmosphere and pacing picked up well. I wasn't bored. And I liked the twist at the end. It's an above average horror. I think it could have used better editing for the first half. But the rest of the movie delivered. It was worth the watch.

I know, but we were promised answers and told we'd finally get to see what the witch looked like and as you say, what we got was an updated remake of the first film, no answered questions and the most fleeting glimpse of some stick creature blurred in the background, I was so disappointed in it. Absolutely crap. I'm hoping this DKT will be more entertaining :-)

Agreed about Blair Witch 2016. I was hoping for a real gore fest with bigfoot, witches, serial killers and mole people and all we got was a chilling, creepy, scary as feck movie with no monsters in sight. Gutted.

yeah I disagree - Blair witch was one of the few good horror movies last year - scary, atmospheric and clever storyline..

The music was great. Added a lot to the atmosphere, all of it appropriate for a horror film.
shareIt's more like the thing from The Grudge. It crawls across the floor and has long hair. But there are also scenes of the old woman walking around. And there's something else toward the end.
