Stella cast
What a great cast, not a dud among them. Assume this little gem will be part of the autumn/winter2014/2015 schedule

The first episode was interesting but not too stellar.
Its that man again!!
It has a strong cast of talented actors. I particularly warmed to the youngest daughter June played by the actress Honor Kneafsey and was touched by the strong bond she had with her father George, played by Lee Ingleby. The first episode was full of charm, just the right amount of tension and humour, which made me feel I'd been entertained and left me smiling, as well as wanting to see more.
shareI too thought it got off to a good start. The cast, scenery etc all very authentic. The little girl playing June was brilliant, especially with the monkey. Lee Ingleby was very good and Anne Reid I'll watch in anything. Can't wait for the next episode...
shareWhat a good start. Warm and amusing without being cloying or hackneyed. And it even has a slimy tosspot of a vicar! Will definitely keep watching this one. It has 'Sunday evening telly' written all over, so I'm kinda surprised to see it going out on a Wednesday!
That could be something to do with Strictly Come Dancing...
shareI thought the same. It should have been on Sunday night. I loved it.
shareIt is an amazing cast, I agree. But poor Anne Reid, must she always play the exact same character in every show? She does it superbly, there's no question about that, but I'd still like to see her doing other types.
