I actually was watching it thinking REC & Quarantine rehashed but with some sort of arty alternative New Yorker social commentary BS spin on it. Maybe I was reading too much into it, but a lot of the characters seemed like a lot of NY posers I have known who sort of fit into those stereotype categories they called characters in this movie.
Like the fashion model turned junkie who didn't realize she was a junkie but just taking time off - i got the feeling while it seemed funny that the people behind this movie put that kind of stuff in their to give some kind of insight or whatever...
like a big failed attempt to make an art house horror movie based off of an american remake of a spanish film :P
Yea, I thought REC too. (I try to forget about Quarantine.) But this one is stupid.
