Shill reviews?

I'm halfway though this now, we had to stop it because it was late at night and duty calls the next day. However, so far, my impression is that the current IMDB rating feels inflated -something over 6 as I write this from a four digits' number of voters. The pacing is fine I guess up to this point, directing is unimaginative but mildly competent and the lighting and cinematography is, again, competent, with a good grasp of the space where the action takes place, trying to make the most out of it. But even those don't make up for the pedestrian script, unsufferable, paper thin characters and the awful acting, that gets worse as the plot thickens -so to speak- in the second act.

I'll get back after I get the chance to finish it, but it doesn't bode well.
