I think 'they' want Christianity (and all other Abrahamic religions) to appear uncool to the young and ignorant masses, which makes 'them' even look more pathetic. Prophets were a big threat to kingdoms and in this movie Jesus appeared like a peasant nobody in reality would taken serious, leave alone kings. nice try.
I watched this movie for an hour only and won't continue.

Since this was made from Bill O'Reilly's book of the same title and Bill is a Christian who works on Fox News why would you think that? It would make sense to try getting people more into Christianity since all of them who work there love Jesus so much....
