Annas, Caiaphas, and Antipas looked exactly the same at the time of Jesus' crucifixion as they did at the time of his birth. Why would they not age over the course of three decades?
And Herodias doesn't age over the course of two decades. She and Salome (who looks too old) look like a pair of friends in their 30s.
For the same reason musician biopics have the same actor play a character at 14 and 41.

Sorry, but I just don't buy that as a satisfactory explanation. I too have seen other films that use the same actor or actress to play a character over the course of 20 or 30 years of life, but some effort is made to convey the passage of time in those films, usually by the hair and makeup departments. No such effort was made here. I do appreciate you taking the time to read my post and comment on it, though. Thank you.
