Storywise, this one owes a big debt to High Plains Drifter. Ethan Hawke (Paul) and James Ransone (Gilly) were perfect for their roles, but Travolta and Taissa Farmiga (Mary-Anne) seemed miscast. The town also felt oddly empty aside from the main characters. Of course, whenever there's shooting people tend to hunker down inside.

Exceptional score by Jeff Grace. Still humming the main theme days later.

Food in Films: Whiskey, whiskey, everywhere. Great expression from the bartender when Paul asks for water and he says "Just water?"
