Welcom back, Sheik!

Great documentary that chronicles obtaining the American Dream by the most unlikley Horatio Alger: The Iron Sheik. Yes, he was a heel and he played up the foreign villan, but the fact remains that he beat Bob Backland and then dropped the belt to Hogan.

The film take you from his humble beginnings in Iran as a amateur champion, the bodyguard for the Shah and finally his decision to leave for America and the professional ranks. Tinged with funny stories and family tragedies, this is an an amazing documentary that takes you behind the curtain and shows you the myth, the legend and the man.

The one disappointment: no mention of Sgt. Slaughter and the Bootcamp match.

The Iron Sheik-- Number One!
