running out of money?

Not very likely
I know buskers and they earn alot of money say about £40 a hour and they dont work covent garden so as nice as it was in the film seeing him live on one tin of beans etc he would probably be on jobseekers allowance anyway and if not would not be that short of money unless he was spending it like it was going out of fashion. I have been homeless on the streets of london and before pret started the chartity vans we would get bin bags full of sandwiches from pret and donuts from dunkin donuts to the point people would have food fights for fun sitting outside st martins in the fields. the movie was ok but the constant cat camera view was a little annoying

I wondered about benefits too as I'm sure he wasn't relying solely on his Big Issue/busking money.. it also annoyed me that he kept buying tins of fish for the cat instead of proper cat food which probably would have been cheaper. That said, whilst I'm sure it was dramatised, it is based on a true story.
