I want to like Eli but

I really want to like this guy. He actually comes off as pretty likeable. Cabin fever was flawed but enjoyable. Hostel was well done. Hell even the fake trailer for thanksgiving was great but this movie is just plain hot garbage. I watched it knowing all the bad reviews were out there so my bar was really low. After completing this film I was just pissed off at how bad this was. The only thing worse than the story were the girls. Possibly the two most unlikeable characters in cinema history.

I agree with you, this movie was bad. Very bad. But I'm sure the girls are supposed to be unlikeable. Eli did a great job making us hate those girls.

Yeah, he kinda went the route of flicks like Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, and others where the female were villains.

The greatest trick the Devil has ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist!

It was a long downhill slide from Inglorious Bastards to Knock Knock...just sayin......

I dont know. They are all genre flicks. I think Knock Knock was similar in writing, tone, and direction to both Cabin Fever and Hostel. Roth's twisted comedic over the top take on the femme fetale/home invasion flicks over the last 40 years. I got a lugh at the end of Knock Knock just like the other two

So much worse than Inglorious Bastards, I agree. At the end when the boy says 'I think Dad had a party' I said to myself, please don't let it end on a stupid Eli Roth joke, and it went to black. I was sorry that I was right. All for a stupid ending and Much ado about nothing.

I LIKE IT...ENTERTAINING AND WELL ACTED.

SPOILER -----

I was hoping for Evan (Reeves) to escape and kill those two Psychotic brats. And put them in the grave.
