The logistics (the setup) for this movie is nearly impossible

How in Heaven's name could these girls have known that Keanu's family was going away for the weekend?

Did they bug just HIS house? Okay, let's go with that. They'd have to listen in on their daily conversations, just hoping that, by chance, he would be left alone for 24-72 hours. And how long would that take before they got to finding out about that weekend? My wife and I have both been gone on business trips, but I don't see how two perfect strangers would know that or find out about it unless they bugged just OUR house and listened to our daily convos.

How did they find their next victim? Do they go to neighborhoods and bug every house and listen to every conversation to see if these men are going to be left alone for 24-72 hours? That would take FOREVER!

Did they do a stake out? Do they do drive-bys to see if a wife and kids are leaving and then just hope that they are going away for days? Are they teachers who question their kids if their parents are going on vacation and if the daddy is being left behind? (That would go over well with the PTA/PTO).

Let's say that I was a crazed psycho hottie and wanted to torture philandering husbands with my friend?

Where ARE these husbands who are going to be left alone for 1-3 days? How do I find them? And just how do I go about bugging the exact house? And not once, but many times, since I have done this before?

And, if they do bug a whole neighborhood to try to find this one philandering guy, how in the he!! do we monitor all of the conversations?

I just couldn't get past this scenario, because it is practically an impossible setup. And, I honestly couldn't think of any realistic way to accomplish this feat.

And then, even if I accept this major suspension of reality, Keanu lets them into his house??!! How dumb is this guy? A normal real husband would say: "Ummm...just stand out there on the porch and I'll call you an Uber. If that is not acceptable, sorry, but I have work to do and I really don't feel comfortable letting two complete strangers in my house. Plus, I have this nosy neighbor across the street who would just LOVE it if I let two hotties into my house while the wife is away. :) :)"

So, yeh, after that, I gave up on this being a logical movie. I watched it (while doing crossword puzzles) just to see how it would turn out. And, I liked the alternative ending better than the original.

the girls spying the family all the time..because they said the monster thing.
maybe they will find you on facebook to find the next victim

So they just picked out his house and family at random?

Really? I think you totally missed the logic in my post.

How did they know the wife and kids were going away for the weekend? Oh yeah, they bugged the house. But, how did they know before they bugged the house? There was no way. Did they just get lucky and pick Keanu's house? Hmmm, "Hey girlfriend, let's pick this house because it looks like the wife might go away for the weekend".

The logic of the whole setup is logistically unrealistic.

As for your Facebook comment, are you suggesting that they troll FB for the info? Again, do you know how many FB accounts they'd have to monitor? And then, just hope that Keanu or his wife is stupid enough to mention it on there.

As a test, I want you to find out which one of your neighbors (none that you know of course, they have to be strangers) are going to be out of town next weekend. And you can't go door to door asking them. You have to do it surretipitiously. Good luck with that task!

The film is a black comedy in one of its genre categories, it is often played for dark laughs, is in many ways metaphorical and intentionally unrealistic, it isn't really meant to be taken too literally and seriously.

I agree it was a really unrealistic movie. As for bugging the house, even though they never said it, I assumed it would be tapping their webcams. That seems to be the new way of getting into everyone's homes these days.

That's why, personally, I thought the "twist" was going to be that the wife hired them to see if her husband would crack and give in to temptation. I am still confused why did didn't just hop in his car and drive them to where they wanted to go.

Perhaps because he had used drugs. Drugs and driving is a bad combo...

They seemed at least moderately tech savvy, they might've hacked into his wifi or something.
