this actually mirrors very closely what happens in countries where death by stoning is still an acceptable form of execution (a lot of times it is women for adultery or other crimes, so this is probably the movie trying to flip the script on the convention).

It's humorous because you were trying to be witty and antagonize me (because you have some bizarre attachment to this awful movie and want to defend it at all costs, despite its practical failings being almost innumerable), when in fact I'm sure more than a few times the last words of people being stoned to death were "Fking whores, FKING WHORES", keeping in mind these are mainly people in Islamic societies accused of rape, incest, adultery...
