I love Eli Roth's films

The guy makes fun movies ... and you can actually see him improve as a filmmaker from film-to-film.

Knock Knock, in particular, looks and sounds great.

Nope, this movie is sexist sh#t. He's just another Hollywood mangina who bashes men to appease the misadristic media. It's pathetic.

Try not to get so triggered, cuck.

So do I! His over-the-top style is fun as hell to watch. I love the gore and violence in his films. Cabin Fever & Hostel are some of my favorites.

Nope, this guy has no soul and even less talent. He's a shitty gimmicky filmmaker.
Need to find a true voice, other than "I'm gonna shock everybody with extreme violence".
Guess what: nobody is shocked.

This crappy movie, for instance, could have been soooo much better with a decent filmmaker behind the camera. This guy doesn't get the basics of the job, like how to make characters that you can empathize with (good and bad ones).

And that's all on him, not the writing: he cannot control the actors, the camera, the pace of the movie or direct the action in a competent or compelling way.

This x100. Couldn't agree more. Guy sucks as a director and the film sucked. It's all about shock value and it may have worked with Hostel ages ago, but he has not developed or improved.
