Everyone, ignore the IMDB rating, it's not that bad.

Just putting this here so people know to disregard the highly exaggerated rating. If the film had reached only it's intended audience and not the droves of morons who rate the film ridiculously low, then it would easily have an above average score of 6-7. Feel free to discuss here the reasons people have for being so horribly offended and upset about this movie, acting like it's literal garbage and not just the slightly above average quality thriller that it is. OR, you could always try and justify your 1/10 rating by screaming at me.

If you are rating this 7/10, then you have VERY low standards. I gave this movie a fair chance but it was complete rubbish and the acting was appalling. I also almost turned it off halfway as I lost interest. I would love you know which movies you love and hate if you think this is 7/10.

i like:
- eli roth
- horror movies
- tits
- keanu reeves

i gave it a 1. how am i not the target audience?

the film was utterly illogical, had plot holes gallore, was terribly acted and had no plot. that's why 1/10. not that it would have helped with me, but it did not have any technical redeeming qualities like a great soundtrack or other technical achievements.

it even made the terrible original worse.

It really, really is. I was appalled at just how bad it was. I never thought Eli Roth could have made a worse movie than Hostel 2, but lo and behold, he actually managed it.

The dialogue is cringewothy beyond belief, the acting (as you would assume from Keanu Reeves) is wooden and has plot has more holes than Swiss cheese.

I have seen Death Game and although not exactly a masterpiece by any means, is fucking Citizen Kane in comparison to this. This is officially the worst film I have ever seen from Eli Roth and all of his films are pretty bad.
