A females opinion: "It is a Movie about a mans fantasy"...WTF?

I watched this based on a lady friend who said she "was watching a movie about a mans fantasy.......". She is a feminist and I've watched her double standards for years.

Mans fantasy?:

What a load of *beep* Evan never had a fantasy of this, he never asked for any of it. In fact he resisted down the line and said "NO" to the offer of sexing the two psychopathic women. He didn't want to have sex with them or have his life ruined by the devious psychos.

My message to my feminist friend: If a man or two men pushed themselves on a woman as these two did and the woman said "No" and yet they went ahead anyway and had sex with her, or she complied out of pressure?: RAPE....pure and simple.

No means no....right? Oh only when it is a woman, not when it is a man or a boy. (In fact sometimes yes means no because a woman is in an awkward position?) Not to mention all the other things they did to terrorize this guy.

But that is how many women view this situation. The double standards and lack of ethics or rational thought by some women never ceases to entertain.

Interesting thread. I think it's always a mistake to compare FICTION with SEX FANTASY. The first part of this movie is probably a male sex fantasy, but I doubt many men would consider the ENTIRE movie to be one.

If a movie has a sex in it, people just assume that the movie is a "sex fantasy" for the male viewers. Sometimes it's not at all--there is pretty much nothing sexy about "Last House on the Left" or "I Spit on Your Grave". Sometimes aspects of it are pretty sexy--rape-happy Japanese "pink" films can be sexy because they are so unrealistic and stylized that it's hard to take the "rape" seriously. "Lolita" films can be sexy if the the actress playing the "lolita" is obviously about 20. Slasher movies might have sexy nude scenes, but I doubt anyone finds the bloody murders sexy. I don't watch ANY of those movies entirely for the sex, or sometimes for the sex at all. Same with this one.

By the way lazarillo, may I ask, but what DID you actually think of this movie, as in, how would you rate it out of 10 etc and is it any good to you?

(For me it rates at about a mere 5 out of 10 but I will tell you more about it.)

Some people don't know that these double standards exist and that men and women are the same.

If all you learn is about life from either movies or emotions or yahooanswers, then yes.

Maybe its about a man's fantasy that later turns into a nightmare, sort of how he is destroyed by a beauty, no?

The difference is clear a woman is generally been weaker cant fight off 2 men intend to have sex with her, whereas a man could do so if he really didnt want it, he could shove them away anytime. If he allows it means its consensual, even hes unable to resist it, itis not the same as unable to prevent it from happening.
