Teaser Trailer and Character Info

The list of confirmed characters so far is:

- Bumblebee
- Sideswipe
- Fixit
- a new female Autobot named Strongarm (blue police car in the clip, allegedly a rookie character)
- Optimus Prime as some ghost or something
- Underbite, a Decepticon Dinobot
- unnamed human kid

All characters, including humans, will be rendered in cel-shaded CGI. According to the news from SDCC, the show will not be a direct sequel to Prime but it will take place in the same continuity. It will also have plenty of humor, but that's been known since the show's initial announcement.

That's interesting. The overall look is unusual, it's reminiscent of CYBERTRON, where the bots were CGI against a more-or-less cel background and an overall anime style.

Underbite, the purple dinosaur car, is the most interesting bot I've seen. He's like Sky-Lynx with wheels LOL. Hope he turns out to have a character and not be a beastie who growls and snarls.

We've only had a sneak peek, but this show and its characters look to be fairly interesting. I hope it works out well.

I saw a video of it on Facebook, and so far, the animation on the characters look...creepy.
