Making Ghost Hunters look like wimps

This is the 3rd horror movie I have seen where the Ghost Hunters run out too scared to tell the home owner what they saw. Come on. People who go into ghost hunting dream about finding something. So stupid to try to set movies up this way. Like the audience will fall for that.

Wouldn't they at the very least just talk to the homeowner outside?
