A confusing film

Alistar Legrand's THE DIABOLICAL is a confused (not to mention confusing) horror/sci-fi film that doesn't end up being a good example of either genre: http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/the-diabolical/

DERRPPP

This movie was an awesome fresh take on a tired over done genre. i lul'd fairly hard when the ghost hunters ran out of the building; because IRL ghost hunters are fake af and a joke, and would go running if they actually found something. Hence, why no one has proven the paranormal/supernatural to exist. Because there is nothing to find; because it doesnt exist. :O lol

IDK what that doucher is referring to in regards to no emotional connections, i felt the brother care for his sister. like wise the mother for her children, the daughter for her mother and father ... the boy wanting to leave the house for the families well-being. Lots of complex emotions/motivations, anger management from dealing w/ bullies/lost and confused after a traumatic events (loss of father/teleporting murderous criminials). The boyfriend keeping his distance and respecting her privacy with her family troubles but once realizing they were of great importance takes action (thought he may have secretly worked for ComSec, or whatever the company was called, the whole time but he didnt so that was okay and wouldve been convoluted and lame).

the only thing vague here is why that doofus is critic. lol I didnt once think of IT FOLLOWS during this film lol like wtf. Completely different, 'IF' has the feeling of being lost and uses a girl running away from a mysterious sex demon in a dark open world. This is a family stuck in a house due to time distortions/teleportation messing up and re-creating ACTUAL monsters; crazy psychotic murderous (living) PEOPLE.

peachout(x2).

So answer me this:

Why did comset want THAT PARTICULAR HOUSE?

Why did Hayley not tell her family she was having convos with her future bro....she talks to him in the movie all the time and even said mom doesnt know youre you...

If he could have convos with his sis why didnt he just go tell either little him or his mom what happens so they could get the hell out of there and then none of it would have happened.

Why DID the mom just decide with a crazy ass thing happening in her house instead of moving out like maybe day 3 of it all? or when even her kids say they see it too....but no...she continues to allow her already hurting kids who lost their dad to get more mentally scarred by making them stay in what they thought to be a haunted house for months.....just....calling priests and mediums and stuff....right..like its totally normal "we will handle it" kind of fashion...

She thought it was her father, not her brother, and she does mention seeing him, but her mother (and brother?) dismiss this.

Why not that particular house? Maybe Patrick Fischler told everybody that their house was the most important, so they wouldn't compare offers with the neighbors. Hers just happened to be the one where they ended up teleporting someone, so that's where the movie happened.

Alternatively, maybe they thought it would be funny to teleport Jacob to where his old house used to be. They seem like sick people.

I thought this movie made no sense whatsoever I was waiting for it to be explained and had to come here for it to make sense. I think the reason the adult version of the boy didn't tell anyone is because everytime someone goes through it effects their physical and mental well being. The boy was lobtomized according to the guards. So the boy not only has little comprehension of anything but factor in the mind scramble, he didn't
seem to notice anything until the
basement. Which is still a lame / obscure reason why he didn't try to communicate to his self. As for the house someone posted on here that the guards again explained they were teleporting him to the lab 10miles away which was the house
they eventually bought. They were experimenting with teleportation but accidentally discovered time travel and did not know this, until the mother came through. It seemed liked they saved her and sent her back, but she seemed different too... It was a weird - weak movie. I usually find humor in bad movies or some redeeming qualities. This was too confusing because many-many plot holes. Long story short listen to the guards talk for like 45 seconds toward end of movie that's supposed to "wrap" everything up, the big reveal.
