she was talking to deb on the phone during the apocalypse and then she said someone was at the door and suddenly she hangs up..then later no we discover she's a zombie. if you don't turn from being bit, how come she turned since she was obviously fine in the morning before the attack 🐼

Based on the phone call she and Deb shared the morning of the outbreak, didn't the friend hear a zombie come into her store before the line cut off? Maybe she drank some water after that lol.
shareIt didn't state anywhere that she hadn't drank any water. We heard her being attacked, and assumed this was the cause of her becoming a zombie. As did the characters in the film.
We found out at the end our assumption was incorrect.
zombie rules. there are initial zombies, turned by the water, then anyone they bite is turned by being bitten. and we didn't see the fat lady naked all over, so we don't know that she wasn't bitten.
