Ep1 this man may well be not guilty ..

i'm shocked to learn that a fair trial is more important than the innocence of a man.
shocked that a state can get away with all this illegal stuff and racism.

deeply and utterly shocked

i guess it comes to no surprise when i say i'm not from US

The Kevin Cooper case is pretty egregious too

1.) Daniel Gregonis (lead criminalist) lied A LOT. HE claimed to have done blind testing when he hadn't, altered lab notes when it turned out cooper had a different EPA (which is an enzyme) from the blood stain.....and most damningly of all lied about not opening the vial that contained a key piece of evidence

2.) There's reason to believe Cooper's blood was on the shirt due to tampering. Cooper had a vial of blood drawn after he was arrested. It was dubbed VV2. When a sample from VV2 was examined, there were TWO sets of blood in the sample, meaning that someone had added another man's blood to the vial. At the same time the prosecution expert in charge of EDTA testing withdrew his results on the ground of contamination....but didn't give his raw data. These combined factors mean the blood may well HAVE been planted. As such, one of the biggest pieces of evidence supporting his guilt crumbles

3.) There was reason to believe a convicted murderer named Lee Furrow and his cronies were the actual killers. Furrow's girlfriend turned in bloody coveralls. Deputy Eckley claims they weren't stained with blood....but he stated a year after getting them he believed her AND he lied about why he disposed of them (he said he did it by himself when in fact his superior approved the destruction)
