I didn't know the nominations had been made but yes, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was definitely robbed. He sure deserved it. BF also did an OUTSTANDING job. I was really disappointed at the reviews. Too much was made of the things that weren't " historically correct". That didn't make any difference to me since the story and acting was so good. I loved it and couldn't wait till the next episode. Had to close my eyes at some of the really gory scenes though. It makes me mad to see some of the crappy reviews and mean-spirited comments on the internet.
shareCynthia Addai Robindon should have nominated for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series (not Monique, come on) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan should have been nominated in Actor in a Limited Series (he was submitted in lead not supporting).
The show's poor reviews may have hurt the performers I believe.
Bill Paxton was really good.
Jeffery Dean was excellent - should recieve an award ...
But I gotta tell ya, Ray Liota was AWESOME. I hope he gets an award.
I was unimpressed with the 'bogusness' & commercialization of historical facts - but it was a fairly entertaining romp.
However, I think some scenes & moments could'a been shortened drastically.
