Bullman & the pro

Where is this story going? Is he going to fall in love with her? Will she be killed and send him on a revenge rampage? I just don't see the point of it.

Her mother is a few years younger than Bullman. Maybe she can hog tie Bullman for herself.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

reply

I think the mother was KIDDING.

Well, after the season finale it seems kind of like it's over but who knows? Was kind of pointless if that's the end of it.

no, its not over, their storyline is just starting to get interesting IMO. He is totally in love with her but can't be with her because she is a prostitute.
She is taking advantage of him obviosly, the way she played him to get the 50 bucks her customer shortend her was quite mean. But he knows he is being used because in the end he pretended he got the money from the old guy but paied her out of his own pocket.
I am not sure yet what the deal with her is (and I hope we will find out in the 2nd season though..). She must somehow like him, she got quite emotional when he stormed out of her apartment in the finale.

I think she is falling for him if she hasn't already... but yes I agree with you that the storyline is interesting. The haters don't like it because to them nothing more then shootings and killings should be in such a show. Those are the same people who like mindless action movies... But her emotions at the end show that it is more then just using Bull. And the same for him. Plus she didn't use him because he offered to help her out whenever she needed it. And so far she only asked him a couple of times... So it's on him if he helps her out, not her.

How about just an old fashion love story in a crazy world of theirs... why does it always have to be about action? Why can't it just be what it is: a tough corrupt cop who has a soft side to him and a prostitute that gets a heart of gold because of his caring. She probably never had anyone care about her. It's new to her.

reply

yes I know what you mean I usually find the little personal side stories far more interesting than the big main plot line. It's a nice way to explore the characters and even make bad guys likable. That's why I don't like procedural dramas, due to their stand alone episode structure the characters often have no depth.
But back to topic, I still believe Fortune is taking advantage of Charlie (even if she has feelings for him). Yes he offered his help, but she knows he can get into big trouble at work, even lose his job and she witnessed his jealous fit at the Waldorf.
If the the older dude had threatened her I would understand that she called Charlie for help as a friend, but she called him to get the 50 bucks her customer cheated her.

reply

Well help is help whether for $50 or for getting beat up. Bull never said what kind of help he would offer. Just to call him when she needed him. Getting beaten up or cheated out of money both qualify. $50 is alot of money in those days... As for him losing his job over this. I doubt it. They are all corrupt and take money from mobsters etc... He just has to say he offers her protection for pay... and let's not forget their Captain sleeps around with a Madam....
