I enjoyed the series. I would have liked to see another season for sure. This is one of the rare shows besides Mr.Robot and a few others on regular cable I liked . Oh well. This is why I really don't get invested in basic cable shows. Most all of them just get axed for other crap.

I'm a big fan of Ed Burns and I really wanted this to be a success. But as good as it was, it had some real flaws. I think the real problem with this show was that it introduced too many characters with too many story lines which either didn't get enough time or too much time. The whole Wass Stevens/mobster daughter love story and the prostitute/Bullman storyline got too much attention, while Richie Kane was one of the absolute best parts of the show and he ended up doing nothing but running back to the farm to lick his wounds (though I'm convinced that he was the one who blew up Patton's car).
That said, the show was good. And it had one of the greatest intros I've ever heard.
