If you ever saw that movie from the 90s that was a complete spoof of Basic Instinct and other mid 80s/early 90s erotic thrillers, this show is a spoof of the Law and Order,CSI, and Criminal Minds shows.

It is absolutely silly and absurd. I thought it was funny but I couldn't finish the series it was just too ridiculous, I think I prefer Brookyln 99.
But, I hope to see it do well, I really miss Rashida Jones.

Lethal instinct? Maybe you meant loaded weapon or fatal instinct. I thought fatal instinct was the better of the two

I thought you were maybe confusing it with "Loaded Weapon 1", that was a spoof of "Lethal Weapon" - my best friend and I used to watch it all the time cuz we thought it was hilarious. Stupid gags like, the main character living in a trailer on the beach, but once you step inside, it's a huge mansion. Love sight gags!
