laugh track, gave it 10 seconds
It might be even less than 10 seconds
If a joke is good, I don't need to be reminded to laugh.
Stop it!

Got tired of it before the title.
shareNot this again. Lot's of great sitcoms have used laugh tracks, someone complains each time a new one does. Truth is that it's not that they're using laugh tracks that bothers you, but that they're using bad laugh tracks. There's a difference.
shareNo actually it is the laugh track in and of itself. Also, don't tell me what I think, I'm better qualified to tell you that.
shareThere are so many differences between a sitcom with live audience/laugh track and a comedy without... And like Slug-3 I'm tired of this preconception.
The pace is different, the dialogue needs to be faster, the jokes NEED to come basically after every other line (otherwise the pause will be felt). Comedies without live audience/laugh track can get away with just a couple of good jokes or lines per episode without problem. This is why I'll always like classic sitcoms better.
