What DON'T you miss about 1995?

I'll go first: Smoking everywhere. YUCK!! I was a smoker in 1995 but didn't realize how gross it was until I quit.

We all enjoy the maddness 'cuz we know we're gonna fade away

I was a 16/17 in 1995. One thing I don't miss is internet that was limited by hours. Most local providers would give you like 20 hours max. And we always had to write it down on a pad beside the computer as there was no counter. I didn't really mind dial up, I just didn't like that limitation.

Again being that age I don't miss my lack of freedom and being at home under my parents rule. Independence...while expensive...is so worth it.

I don't miss having such a hard time tracking down friends.

I don't miss payphones. They were always gross.

I don't miss being considered lazy or worthless because I was a teen.

I don't miss my family expecting me to enlist when I turned 18 because my uncle and cousins did it.

As you say lmsa, smoking everywhere you went. So nasty. It got all over you, in your clothes, hair etc.

I don't miss having to pay for things with checks because the electronic card machines weren't so much a thing at the time.

I don't miss how uppity the few people with cell phones were. Ooo look at me I have a cellular telephone. Oooo! STFU!

I don't miss Jessica Biggerstaff. She was horrible.

I don't miss (and yet I do sort of) the drama that came with relationships at that age.

I don't miss the overwhelming insecurity.
The loneliness that comes when you don't know who you are yet, when you don't know how to be comfortable in your own skin.
I don't miss the terrible chart music, or not being able to ration my first wages .

I do miss my rather large family.
I would dearly love to have one more family bash, but I'd need to go back in time to do that.

Time is a funny thing.

Lycos. Google may be conquering the world, but at least we have a good search engine. Also modems and AOL and the Hansons.

I think it would
be fun. You'd have to remember so much stuff. What car was I driving? Where are my keys? Where did I work? Whats my address? You could talk again to people who may have passed on. Can you remember their phone numbers? You'd be like "oh my favorite t shirt!"
lol thats the fun of the show. Sucks vh1 is dumb
